A young man joins the french circus to pursue the girl of his dreams.

Bored with the drudgery of his life, he travels to the dry desert, into the heart of a wondrous city of lights.  It is there that he finds love deeply, and pursues the star of the show; a stunning french female acrobat.  He joins the circus as a lowly worker and finds danger at every turn as a strange breed of performers show him a world he never knew existed.
